Photo Greg Flood | | | Sid christian and his creation 05 Nov 07 One of Siddy Christian's creations. A real Monty Man, I don't quite know what the thinking was behind this thing. A Yamaha plant in a V 75 frame. He must have wanted a milder ride........ Photo Greg Flood |

| Mortlake start 05 Nov 07 What a pity tracks like this don't exist any more! Beautiful, undulating surface, big straights and laid back attitude. Big sigh! Photo Greg Flood | | | Flyin' 414 05 Nov 07 Floody on his 414 at Halls Gap Photo Greg Flood |

| 360/250 05 Nov 07 Greg Flood on his VB 250 which he'd converted to a 360 with head, barrel, pipe and carb from the big bore.It was extremely quick with its 5 speed box and lighter ignition. He didn't manage to find time to put his yellow plates on the bike which got him a rap over the knuckles from the Steward. | New 414's to play with. 05 Nov 07 Greg Flood (foregrond) and Peter Christian practice at Halls Gap on their new 414's Photo Greg Flood | | | First ever supercross at the Granville speedway 05 Nov 07 One of the first ever Supercross's held in Australia in 1978.Taken on the Wednesday before the Friday night event. From the right- Some guy from overseas, Peter Christian (VB250), Mark Christian (VB250), Trevor Brooks (VB250), Greg Flood on the very first KX250A5 (79), Stephen Gall, next two are the Harrison Bros from England then Doug (somebody or other) from The States. When Doug saw the new KX he just had to have it and Floody ended up riding A VB. Imagine that. A start gate with Monties more prevelant than anything else. Sigh... Photo Greg Flood |

| Greg Flood Motorcycles 02 NOV 07 Greg Flood sold Montesa's from his shop at the corner of Howitt and Forest St's in Wendouree (Ballarat). He rode Montesa's for Lyall O'Brien as well. Pictured here is Peter Christian VB 360 outside Gregs shop after he'd made up the regulation side covers which were a topic of hot debate at the time. They look pretty good. | Jared Bates VA 360 Jared's first Big Bore Monty. Bought it to escape the 250 class in 1976 which was full of crazy kids at the time (some things never change!). Advertised it in 1980 and was offered $350 for it, so he decided to keep it. He still has it today and it looks exactly as it does in the pic. Thank goodness..... Photo Jared Bates | | | JB's first VR The first of three VR's raced between '73 and '75 (they must have grown on trees!). He still has the number plate and riding gear so everyone should chip in to buy him some new gear! He was racing a '72 Cappra (63M) pre this and reckons the VR was a big jump up. Photo Jared Bates |

Went on to sell Yamahas in his declining years. Photo Paul Holloway | | | Mark and Peter Christian The first really quick boys I'd ever seen. With the help of their father Siddy, they were a very professional turn out. Photo Paul Holloway |
